FAQs
-
Do you take insurance?
I do not accept insurance directly; however, I can provide you with a superbill. This document allows you to submit your payment to your insurance company for possible reimbursement, depending on your specific plan and coverage.
-
Do we meet virtually or in person?
Currently, I am offering all of my sessions virtually through a safe and secure video platform.
-
How many sessions will I need?
Every individual is unique, and there is no one-size-fits-all approach to our work together. I do not require a fixed number of appointments. Instead, we will tailor our journey to your specific needs during our first session. While healing is absolutely possible, it is a process that requires time and patience. Many clients experience significant progress toward their food and body goals within 6 months.
-
How often will we need to meet?
This will depend on your individual needs. We will chat about this in our first session together. I often meet with people either once per week, every other week, or once a month.
-
How do I get started?
You can email me directly at meredith@abundantwellnessnutrition.com or reach out to book a free discovery call through HERE.
I can’t wait to chat with you!
-
How long are sessions?
The intake session is 75 minutes. Follow-up sessions are 50 minutes.
-
What can I expect from my first session?
Your first session is a conversation, not an interrogation. We'll spend 75 minutes getting to know each other: what's brought you here, what you've tried before, your relationship with food and your body, and any medical or health context that matters.
You won't leave with a rigid meal plan. You'll leave with a clear sense of what we're working toward together, your first small steps forward, and some personalized resources to support you until we meet again.
-
Do you work with athletes?
Yes! I work with athletes that are struggling with an eating disorder, athletes that are looking to thrive in their sport and recover from RED-S (relative energy deficiency in sport), and athletes that are needing to find a balance with the relationship they have with exercise, food, and their body.
-
Do you work with treatment teams?
Yes — and this is something I take seriously. If you're already working with a therapist, psychiatrist, or physician, I'll coordinate directly with them (with your permission) so your care is integrated, not fragmented.
I'm experienced in collaborative eating disorder treatment and know how to translate clinical recovery goals into practical nutrition strategies that actually support your work with the rest of your team.
If you're not yet working with other providers but think you might need to, I can help you identify next steps and provide referrals to great providers.

Is this the right fit for me?
My practice is a good fit for you if:
• You're an adult, teen, or parent of a child struggling with their relationship with food
• You're done with dieting and looking for something that actually lasts
• You want a provider who will listen carefully and treat you as an individual — not hand you a generic plan
• You're open to a weight-inclusive, non-diet approach to nutrition
My practice is probably not the right fit if you're looking for a meal plan to lose weight as quickly as possible. That's not the work I do. I am happy to give you a referral to other providers that can support this.
I am always excited to connect through a free 15-minute discovery call to answer any questions you might have and see if we are a good fit.
