Today I planted my tomato plants, and it reminded me of something that I have been mulling over for the past few months. With so much information out there in the world it is easy to get paralyzed into fear. Fear about not having the right tools, the perfect soil, the Pinterest worthy garden beds, the right starter plants, and wondering if you’re even considered a real gardener if you buy starter plants versus using seeds. I feel like planting my tomato plants today was a great reminder for myself that nothing is ever perfect – in gardening or life. We will always wonder if there are others that are better than us, know more than us, have more than us, when in reality we just need to START. Start gardening, start working towards a health goal you have, start a business, start trying to learn to cook, just start. We will never have everything figured out perfectly, and we are almost always guaranteed to stumble along the way. Your hands may get dirty, but starting is the only way we can continue to grow and seek out our full potential.
