Probiotic Rich Homemade Ranch Dressing

Probiotic Rich Homemade Ranch Dressing

Below are the ingredients in the most popular ranch dressing on the market. I see plenty of ingredients listed there that you would not find in nature. Homemade ranch dressing is easy to make at home and it will not only taste better, it will be about 100 times healthier too!

“Vegetable oil (soybean and/or canola), water, egg yolk, sugar, salt, cultured nonfat buttermilk, natural flavors (soy), less than 1% of: spices (mustard), dried garlic, dried onion, vinegar, phosphoric acid, xanthan gum, modified food starch, monosodium glutamate, artificial flavors, disodium phosphate, sorbic acid and calcium disodium edta as preservatives, disodium inosinate, disodium guanylate”

Homemade ranch dressing is WAY easier to make than you may think. It is also packed with something other than monosodium glutamate – probiotics. This is an easy way to get some gut-friendly probiotics into your (and your kids!) diet. Not only that, this recipe is full of healthy fats from the full-fat yogurt and avocado oil mayonnaise.

The ranch dressing spice mix I use in this (recipe listed below) is not only great to make this dressing, but it’s fantastic as a seasoning on chicken, roasted potatoes, and more. Just make sure to mix it up well each time you use it since the heavier spices and salt tend to settle towards the bottom.
